This past week has brought me into the 40-50 range more than ever. There have been a few highs, but those have been from mis-calculations of carbs in meals. Otherwise, I’m pretty well staying in the 90-130 range, save the every-few-hours 50 that will creep in there.
I forgot to pick up the honey over the weekend, but I did get a pack of JuicyJuice juice boxes to keep with me. You can get them in the 15g size or 25g size. I chose to get the 25g size just for safety measure. And, of course, I went with my favorite flavor… GRAPE! They’re just perfect to keep one in my purse, desk drawer, or anywhere else I need one stashed for a quick grab since it’s not always easy to find something to eat since I took most of my “snacks†out to avoid mindless eating. (Not to mention I think it’s really cool to drink these because it makes me feel like a kid being able to drink from a juice box!)
While talking with a few others on twitter this morning, we discussed our favorite flavors and sizes. Do you ever treat with JuicyJuice? If so, what’s your flavor? Do you have a favorite?

Apple all the way! I keep them everywhere! Nightstand, fridge, always two or so floating around in the bottom of my purse. I heart JJ!
If I’m treating with juice, it’s definitely JJ. I go with the 15g size and either apple or orange tangerine. I think I should have bought stock in them…
I’ve actually not tried Juicy Juice. Coke used to be my treatment of choice for lows but I’ve since realized, especially when I’m going through periods of many lows, it’s not the best thing for me. I now use Hi-C juice boxes. They are yummy! My fave of those are the flashin’ fruit punch and wild cherry. Since reading your post, I did some research and see that JJ is actually better for you. I’ll have to look out for JJ next time I’m in the supermarket. Why is it so hard to find something that really works fast to treat a low but doesn’t contain a million carbs or isn’t bad for you??
