Tonight, I’ll be the guest speaker for DSMA Live!. The show starts at 9pm EST and you can listen in by going to this link:
Blog Talk Radio : Diabetes Social Media Advocacy – LIVE!
You can also participate as a guest in the chat by either phoning in or chatting in the chat window. So come on over and join us for an hour of recap of last night’s DSMA chat questions and discussions. It’s fun!
Tonight’s topic? FOOD! And I am so happy because food is one of the most controversial topics between diabetics and non-diabetics (sometimes also known as “The Diabetes Police†– but that’s a whole other story) and I’m hoping that through last night’s twitter chat and tonight’s DSMA Live! chat, we’ll bring more light to how things are for diabetics now verses how it may have been years ago concerning food and the choices we make.
So, if you can, please come and join us for the Live! chat tonight. And, if not, that’s okay because we’ll have a link to the chat that you can go back and listen to it later.
Twitter DSMA chats are moderated by my good friend, Cherise, and DSMA Live! chats are hosted by Cherise, Scott, and George on Blog Talk Radio. To find out more about Diabetes Social Media Advocacy (DSMA), visit www.diabetessocmed.com.
I hope all of you got a chance to listen in on the premier of DSMA Live! on Blog Talk Radio last night. The guest speaker was Kelly Kunik of Diabetesaliciousness, and she did a wonderful job to help kick off the show. I loved listening to her share her diabetes experiences and stories. I even got to go on as a call-in guest, along with Sara Knicks and Mike Durbin!
Of course, if you missed it, that’s okay too. If you go to the DSMA website and look about mid-way down on the sidebar, you will see a widget that has the episode listing and you can play all the prior episodes right from there!
So head on over and check it out! And, if you did miss it, that’s ok. They’re broadcasting every Thursday night at 9pm EST and you can find them at www.blogtalkradio.com/diabetessocmed. Hope to see you there!
So, most of you guys know about DSMA twitter chats. If you don’t me explain.
DSMA stands for Diabetes Social Media Advocacy. Cherise started this as a way for all of the DOC’ers to get together and let their voices be heard on different topics. The meetings are each Wednesday night from 9pm – 10pm EST, and can be accessed via Tweetchat/room/dsma. If you have a twitter account, I encourage you to come and join us!
Well, Cherise, George, and Scott are taking this one step further. They’re going “LIVEâ€. Here’s Cherise’s video to help explain a little more:
So, why don’t you guys go ahead and click the link above and check it out? You can even see some of the test episodes they have done! I’m tuning in tonight. Are you?
