Hey guys! I was about to forget to post! I’ve had so much going on that I do believe if one more thing has do be fixed, my mind will explode. BUT, that’s beside the point.

SO! I have been thinking of what to write and how to word it to not sound corny, but I wanted to say a few things about some people who have helped me tremendously these past few days.

First shout-out goes to Cherise. This woman is awesome. I know that at any given time, I can call her, vent and she’ll put a smile back on my face in no time. She’s “da-bomb”! (Oh lordy, that goes back to the 90’s!) She’s so much more than a diabetic friend. She’s a true, honest-to-goodness friend that happens to share the same disease. So much that she is going to try and share some of who she is with you guys because she’s just bubbling over with personality. If you checkout sweetcherise.wordpress.com, you’ll see that she’s set up a whole other blog just to blog about all things Cherise. So, way to go girl! You ROCK!

Second goes to someone who isn’t diabetic. He’s not even a follower of my blog. He’s part of my family. He had moved away for a while, but now he’s back in my area and we’ve gotten back in touch. Now, it’s hard to imagine him not there. It’s such a wonderful thing to have someone who “gets” you. He may not “get” what I’m talking about when I say diabetes-related things, but he also doesn’t make a big deal of it either. He just sits there and listens. I’m not going to say too much for fear of getting sappy, but I will say this… if he ever moves again, I’ll be one upset little camper. Thank goodness for Facebook, cellphones, and GPS, because they’ll get quite a use from me if he does.

These people this week have been my source of strength and have kept me going. They’re my sunshines.

Of course, I couldn’t leave without mentioning the other person I’ve been talking with on a daily basis too, and that’s Chris Stocker. He’s an awesome dude who has been putting up with emails from me since the first of November about helping me re-make my blog site onto WordPress.org. He’s super patient, and has so far passed every demand and inquisition I have sent his way with flying colors. I can’t wait to show you guys the finished product, which rumor has it that we may be a go by next week!
